One of the few satay sauces with no MSG. Found it last night, bought some today, tried it, no problems. Ayam even have an organic Soy sauce, no MSG, no GMOs, certified organic. Ayam seem to really care, and this is all in Woolies as well. Thank you. :-)

Chicken Satay Skewers

Ingredients

Skewers

4 chicken breast fillets, diced
12 wooden or metal skewers
1 red onion cut, cut into thin wedges
1 zucchini, cut into slices
1 small red capsicum cut into 2.5cm cubes
2 tbsp lime juice
¼ cup peanut oil
2 tbsp AYAM™ Light Soy Sauce 210ml

Sauce

250ml can AYAM™ Satay Sauce
270ml can AYAM™ Light Coconut Cream
2 cups steamed rice

Method

Thread diced chicken into 12 skewers, adding onion wedges, zucchini and capsicum in between. Brush chicken and vegetables with combined oil, lime juice, and Soya Sauce.
Preheat grill to high. Grill chicken and vegetable skewers for 3 minutes on each side, or until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender.
Meanwhile, combine Satay Sauce and Light Coconut Cream in a saucepan, stir over medium heat for 3 minutes or until reduced and thickened.
Serve skewers on a bed of rice and spoon over sauce.
