- Subject to clauses 4 and 5 below, entry is open to all residents of Australia.
- Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter the Competition.
- Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter and any of their associated agencies, suppliers or related bodies corporate are not eligible to enter this competition.
- Entries open 12.01am (AEST) on 15/01/2012 and close at 11.59pm (AEST) on 15/04/2012.
- The prize draw will be conducted at A. Clouet (Australia) Pty Ltd, 11 Melissa Place, Kings Park NSW 2148 on 23/04/12 at 2.30pm. All prize winners will be notified by e-mail and their names will be published on the promotional website on 14/05/12. The name of the first prize winner will be published in The Australian on 14/05/12. The first prize winner will be advised of their point of contact and also instructed how to book in their travel within 28 days of the draw. Second and third prizes will be dispatched within 28 days of the draw. All reasonable steps to notify winners of the results of the draws will be taken by the Promoter.
- To enter the promotion, simply purchase any two (2) AYAM™ products during the promotional period of 15/01/2012 – 15/04/2012, keep the receipt, locate the barcode on the product packaging and then enter via Internet by logging on to www.ayam.com and completing the entry form. In order to fully complete the online entry form, eligible entrants will be required to provide their full name, residential address, contact telephone number, current and valid e-mail address, date of birth, and the barcodes from the AYAM™ products purchased.
- Entries must be received by the Promoter during the promotional period. Internet entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt into the promotional database and not at the time of transmission.
- You may enter as many times as you like provided that each entry is a separate online entry and includes the barcodes of the two (2) AYAM™ products purchased during the promotional period. Only one entry is permitted for every purchase of two (2) AYAM™ products. If an entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all entries made, then all the entries of that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid. Each entry must be a separate entry. In order to be eligible to claim a prize; winning entrants will be required to provide proof of purchase by presenting a store receipt corresponding to the entry date within the promotional period of 15/01/2012 to 15/04/2012.
- Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winners to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the winners’ identity, age, residential address, and eligibility to enter and claim a prize.
- If the competition winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian on behalf of the winner.
- First prize: The first eligible entry drawn randomly from all entries received will win a holiday for two persons to Vietnam and Cambodia. The prize consists of:
Two (2) economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city (Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra) to Hanoi, Vietnam, and return from Siem Reap, Cambodia to the winner’s nearest capital city (Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra). Airline flown is at the discretion of the promoter and routing will be subject to the airline’s schedules and availability. All airline taxes are included.
- Two (2) one-way transfers between Hanoi airport and tour commencement point.
- Two places on an APT “Luke Nguyen Signature Tour of Vietnam and Cambodia” 19 day tour. This tour includes 5 star accommodation throughout, most meals, all sightseeing, tipping, port charges, and special Luke Nguyen dining and/or cooking experiences in Vietnam. All accommodation is on a twin-share basis throughout. Tour commences in Hanoi, Vietnam, and ends in Siem Reap, Cambodia. - Two (2) one-way transfers between hotel and Siem Reap airport on last day of tour.
- No frequent flyer points can be accrued on travel and accommodation taken with this prize. Spending money, meals (other than those stated), insurance, passports, visas, travel to and from the Australian departure point, and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. The prize is non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash.
- The first prize winners’ travel package must be redeemed for travel commencing either 30 June 2012 or 29 December 2012. Both departures will have days of the Vietnam portion and of the Mekong River portion Cruise of the tour personally hosted by celebrity chef, Luke Nguyen. Luke Nguyen will not be present for the entire duration of the tour. The tour is subject to alteration and should, amongst other changes, Luke Nguyen become unavailable to host the selected tours, no financial or other reimbursement will be due to the prize-winner. - Second prize: The following eighty eight (88) eligible entries, drawn randomly from all entries received will win a Luke Nguyen Baccarat 4 piece Wok set, model 1013856 (valued at $199.99 RRP). (Total runners up prize value is $17,599.12 RRP in total. There will be 88 winners in total.)
- Third prize: The following thirty one (31) eligible entries, drawn randomly from all entries received will win an autographed copy of the cookbook, “The Songs of Sapa” by Luke Nguyen (valued at $69.99 RRP). (Total runners up prize value is $69.99 RRP each, and $2169.69 RRP in total. There will be 31 winners in total.)
- There are 120 individual prize winners. Only one (1) prize can be won per household regardless of the number of entries received (S.A. exempt). Total Prize value is $40,898.81 (RRP inc. GST). Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars. The promoter accepts no responsibility for variation in prize values.
- All second and third prizes will be sent to the winners’ address, as stated on the Competition Entry form.
- Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prizes are not exchangeable, redeemable for cash and not transferable. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prizes winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
- Values of prizes are shown as a guide only, were correct at the time of printing and include GST where applicable. Should the item specified in items 13, 16 or 17 above be unavailable or superseded, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of a similar replacement type and value, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory, where relevant.
- The promoter may conduct a second draw in the event of any forfeited or unclaimed prizes at the same address on 23/07/12 at 2.30pm to distribute any prizes, should they be unclaimed or returned to the promoter by this date, and those winners will be notified by e-mail and published on www.ayam.com on 06/08/12. Any winners of an unclaimed first prize will also be published in the Australian on 06/08/12.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestions on the Internet or at any website, or any combination related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
- If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
- Any costs associated with accessing the website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- The promoter and its related bodies corporate, their offices and employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any of the prizes offered.
- All entries become the property of the promoter. Entrant’s personal information is collected to allow the promoter to manage this competition. By entering, unless otherwise advised, each entrant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database. The Promoter and its partner (if applicable) may use this for future promotional purposes without any reference/payment/compensation. If an individual no longer consents to their details being used for promotion and marketing purposes, the entrant should contact the Promoter or relevant Sponsor (whichever the case may be).
- In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
